Proven studies show you can add years to your life by reducing stess. Living a STRESS-FREE life is the key, but how? Should I live safely and more simply?
A close friend of mine commented that because I dream big, create big, and take big risks, I create more stressful situations in my life. This may be true. Maybe scientists would say my life is shortened by 10 years, but I disagree.
Even though my life is met with these situations, I find I stress less than most people do with little to no stress in their life. So keep in mind it is not the stressful situation itself, but how you handle it. I have seen people stress more over losing their cell phone or getting lost than I do losing a multi-million dollar business deal.
So if you are like me and have major events that could stress you out...repeat in your mind a favorite quote of mine.."I NEVER DID MIND THE LITTLE THINGS."
If you have your health, your loved ones, shelter and something to eat for the day, then you have what is truly important, and no reason to stress.
